Samantha Joy is an on-location, natural light photographer serving the Madison and Milwaukee metro areas. Photo sessions are relaxed and fun, and usually take 60-90 minutes. Newborn sessions typically take 2-3 hours. Samantha Joy strives to take a combination of posed portraits and candid moments which reveal people’s true character. The session fees are for Samantha Joy’s time, talent, and creativity during and after the photo shoot. After your custom photo session, Samantha Joy takes special care in processing & developing the images to bring out the best in each portrait.
Any travel under a 40 miles radius of Samantha Joy Photography’s home office in Watertown, Wisconsin is covered under the session fee. Anything over 40 miles will have an additional mileage fee added of $1.00 per mile.
The session fees also include an online gallery of your finished portraits which is viewable for 7 days. These fees will be collected in full the day you schedule your photo shoot and are non-refundable. Samantha Joy understands that children get sick and that events occur that are beyond your control. The session fee retained will be applied to a future photo shoot date if illness occurs.

Maternity Sessions are best scheduled between 32-36 weeks.
Newborn sessions are scheduled within 5-7 days of birth.

The Milestones Plan – $300
Includes 3 sessions within first year – $100 each
Newborn within 2 weeks of birth
Around 6 months when able to sit unassisted
Around 1 year when able to stand/walk

There is a $150 portrait order commitment with each session. However, on average, most clients anticipate investing between $250 – $600 on their portraits.
